Global internet / internet everywhere is being worked on with Space-x "StarLink", thousands of satellites connecting everyone globally to the internet. Therefore infrastructure for the digital currencies,
Too private makes it ideal for illegal activities. / Can't be controlled as easy, taxed as easy.
All of the above is a partial list of factors devaluing the Dollar and trust in it from several ways and views. At the end of the day it has a huge amount of enemies, that are all looking for ways to get out of it. Some of what I'm seeing personally.
Prices are outpacing wages.
Education is required for a good job vs how things used to be, jobs are getting more technical for same wage value.
Real Estate has been rapidly climbing in price, even homes that haven't been remodeled. A $80,000 home in my area is now $180k in the last 6-7 years. Wages haven't moved.
Rents have been climbing with the real estate prices.
Taxes have increased on said real estate
Insurance cost are up
Repair costs are up
It is a death spiral for the working person, where it used to be "No more than 30% of your wage going to housing" It is now well over 50%....Just look at this recent post in Frugalhttps://www.reddit.com/Frugal/comments/ifqah1/is_it_normal_for_a_third_to_a_half_of_you?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3 This death spiral I foresee getting worse. And historically any "tax" / regulation cost will just be passed down to the consumer in form of increased prices until people / businesses move elsewhere as we've seen in several cities around the US. So what can we do? Buy Gold! Silver! Bitcoin! Stocks! I hear people roar, They aren't exactly wrong as history shows... but have you considered the 30-40% tax on the "gain"? Even when that asset buys the same value before tax? What if the government makes it illegal like the 1933 order: 6102 Where you couldn't own gold for nearly 50 years? You're frozen out, or even out on taxes (which will likely be more strict and controlled later in time). I'd say Invest in things that will
Help you be independent
Can help you save
That you will use anyways in normal living
Things that can be productive not only for you, but for others $
Bonus points if its easy to trade off / has demand
Extra bonus if it is durable (lasts many years)
Helps your health
Metals are the next step when a person has plenty of the above. You get to a point where you have hundreds of thousands, if not millions that you need to condense into something real. It is all about the savings or productivity gain of the investment. For instance I would wager that many preppers have gotten more use / value out of a $800 clothes washer than a $800 rifle. (have you ever had to do manual laundry???) Sure the rifle will hold value...but it often doesn't pay you back with time / what it saved and / or what it has produced during its life unless you are using it. Same can be said of security cameras, a generator, a tractor, trailer, garden, tools, ect. Look at history even, in countries that have experienced hyperinflation people that already had tangibles they regularly use were way ahead. It could even be honey, a tool, extra maintenance parts, can of food, that bottle of medicine, a computer to keep your intel on point, (cough # PrepperIntel plug) use of your equipment to do or make something for someone. Real Estate is good too, it rides inflation well and has many ways of being productive. Your metals could be sitting there like the rifle, and could be subject to hot debate and laws. Meanwhile that garden is paying back, chainsaw is helping saw up wood, or your tractor is helping a job, your tools just helped you fix something / saved you much loss, Your security stopped a loss not by a person, but an random animal stealing things. Or that $25,000 solar array is paying you back by the day in spades...while making you independent...running all your tools you're using to make things to sell, and even heating / cooling some of the house with the extra juice while places around you experience rolling blackouts. You were even smart and took the current 24% tax benefit the government has saving you $5000 on it for batteries. Don't get me started if you have an electric vehicle with solar... I'm rambling at this point...and all those stealthy / direct and passive background savings...even if the crap doesn't hit the fan. So anyways, With out of control central banks and big governments, digital currencies, How do you think it will play out? Are we heading to dystopia?
How would I sell my crypto holding from 6 years ago
Hello everyone. New account for privacy A bit of a different question aimed to anyone familiar with the crypto space. Back in 2014, just turned 18 year old me put my first pay check from my part time job into crypto currency, I invested about £200 into bitcoin and lite coin. Around 3 years ago I moved my holdings off coinbase and onto a hard wallet to ensure there safe as it is now a sizeable holding. Fortunately along the way, I haven't sold any and now have a portfolio of coins worth around £10k, I have always saved my earnings and now being in a full time job I haven't really had a need to sell my holdings. Please don't take this the wrong way, but with savings crypto is around 10% of my available money so to date I have just thought I have been lucky but don't really have a need to sell, since my initial investment was just a few hundred its not the end of the world if the price crashed or skyrocketed at this point. I know there are a lot of haters of bitcoin on this forum, but I personally think bitcoin especially is going to increase in value significantly over the next 5 years, my question is when I decide to sell some/all of my holdings, how? I know I would need to send the coins to Coinbase and sell them via their platform but what I'm worried about is withdrawing the money to my bank. Its going to look very dodgy having (hopefully) £10's of thousands being withdrawn from coinbase. I know the horror stories of people getting banned from banks and this is my dread, I don't know what I would do not being able to have a bank for 6 years due to a fraud marker. Banks are against bitcoin, and I am fully aware a large sale of crypto looks fraudulent, (even when it isn't) this is what I am worried about and is what would prevent me selling. Thanks for any advice
The Bitcoin Conspiracy (an enthusiast's perspective)
I keep coming across comments, especially in this sub, from people claiming that Bitcoin was created by the CIA or some government agency as part of the plan for the NWO and cashless society. I want to share my experience and try to clear up the confusion surrounding this topic. I first got involved with Bitcoin in late 2016 when I heard about it and got some while at a libertarian festival. Back then it was still very popular among the agorist community and was being promoted as THE silver bullet that was going to disrupt the global fiat banking system. Putting preconceptions aside, a new user might ask, "what's so special about Bitcoin? We already have digital currencies." Well, you only need to read the first page of the whitepaper to discover what the original intent of Bitcoin was. It most definitely was not intended to be a tool for central banks to subjugate the world to a centralized global currency. Quite the opposite in fact. Read the full whitepaper here. When I first learned about Bitcoin, it forced me to learn about economics, then the Federal Reserve, then one by one the dominoes fell and down the conspiracy rabbit hole I went. In 2017 (actually it started a few years earlier, but I wasn't paying attention back then) there was a very heated debate in the Bitcoin community regarding scaling. I'll try to break it down simply: In the very early days, when Bitcoin was just a project being worked on by a few very technical people, no one knew about it. All it took was a handful of people running the software on their laptops to mine new coins. Since there was not much computing power on the network, it meant there could easily be a spam attack where a malicious user could join the network and generate many gigabytes of spam transactions that would overload and crash the network. To prevent this, Satoshi implemented a limit of 1MB per block, to protect the network until there was enough computing power to be able to handle larger blocks. This measure worked, and Bitcoin grew exponentially. Satoshi vanished in 2010, after WikiLeaks attracted unwanted attention to the project by accepting Bitcoin donations. He left clear instructions for his successors that the 1MB block size limit was meant to be increased once the network could support high levels of user traffic. At the time, there still was not much use, so it wasn't until around 2014 that blocks started hitting the 1MB cap and all of a sudden users had to compete (by paying higher transaction fees) in order to get their transaction mined into the next block. Up until then, sending a Bitcoin transaction would cost $0.0001 (hundredth of a penny) or less, no matter if you were sending $0.10 or $1,000,000. Now, since block space was limited, fees started to rise, as miners would only include the transactions with the highest fees. Over the next couple years, transaction fees went up dramatically, at times reaching as high as $100 to send a single transaction. The solution was obvious - raise the block size limit. But this led to a heated debate, and this is where the conspiracy became obvious to those who were paying attention. Since Bitcoin was decentralized and open source, anyone could contribute, but certain people controlled the commit access to the github repo, and it became apparent that those individuals had been compromised, as any and all mention of increasing the block size was met with fierce resistance. There was a misinformation campaign to discredit anyone arguing for larger blocks. The argument was that larger blocks would mean users could not run the software on their low-power personal devices and laptops; that by increasing the block size it would lead to mining centralization. Well, if you read the whitepaper linked above, you'll see that Satoshi predicted this. He knew mining would eventually be left to "specialized server farms" while normal users could use what he termed Simplified Payment Verification (SPV) wallets. But this point was consistently shot down in the community, and especially on /bitcoin. There was a MASSIVE censorship campaign in the bitcoin subreddit that continues to this day where anyone who questions the official narrative or even asks a basic technical question is immediately banned. /bitcoin today is nothing but a cesspit of price memes and misinformation. Go to /btc for the uncensored discussions (but beware of trolls). In 2017 the debate was finally settled, sort of. Now known as "Bitcoin Core" (the name of the official Bitcoin software), the developers implemented a change known as SegWit (Segregated Witness) which fundamentally altered the way the software validates transactions. It was implemented as a "soft fork" rather than a "hard fork". I'll explain the difference. In a fork, the network comes to a consensus on new rules that all participants must follow. In a hard fork, the changes are non-backwards compatible, so all users must update their software or else be left behind on a dead network. Hard forks happen all the time in software development, but in the case of SegWit, the developers refused to make any non-backwards compatible changes for fear it might alienate users. Again, another unfounded fear. "We can't ever upgrade the technical capabilities of the network (such as the block size) because some people might not go along with it." All kinds of mental gymnastics were performed to justify their refusal to increase the block size, and there was nothing anyone could do about it except fork as an independent project. The 1MB block limit is now essentially set in stone for BTC. So in August 2017, Bitcoin Cash (BCH) hard forked by increasing the block size limit to 8MB, along with some other changes. Fast forward to December 2017 and Bitcoin was at its all time high of nearly $20,000. But fees were also astronomical and because of the 1MB block size limit, a huge backlog formed, and some people had to wait days or even weeks for their transaction to confirm. If anyone was trying to cash out into fiat and didn't want to pay a $100 transaction fee, by the time their transaction got confirmed the price had already crashed. This event was largely responsible for the bear market of 2018. Everything that happened was predicted by those who knew what was going on. A company called Blockstream had essentially wrestled control of Bitcoin from the original developers and shut them out or gained control over them, and started working on turning Bitcoin into a settlement layer for their product called Lightning Network. LN is a complicated topic that I don't want to get into, but essentially it's a framework that recreates all the same problems inherent in the banking system that Bitcoin was meant to solve. Blockstream's goal is to profit from creating, and then "solving" those problems by charging users fees for all kinds of custodial services. In my personal opinion, it's obvious that the original Bitcoin project has been hijacked and repurposed into a tool for the central banks. The propaganda is being pushed in some conspiracy circles that Bitcoin was created BY the central banks in order to discourage people from researching the true history. What is now commonly called "Bitcoin" is not the original project, but a Trojan horse. The project that most closely follows the original design is Bitcoin Cash, and that is where almost all organic development is happening, and personally I feel that it's picking up steam lately as more people wake up to what's happening in the economy right now. Unfortunately most people are still unaware of how fundamentally broken BTC is now and so as new users run toward cryptocurrency to escape the dollar collapse, most will fall straight into the trap and be stuck with BTC that they won't be able to use without paying exorbitant fees and/or submitting to the very same tracking system they are trying to get away from. This is a very deep rabbit hole but I think I've written enough for now. I hope this info helps people make sense of what's going on with Bitcoin. I know it's confusing enough even without so much deception taking place so hopefully this helps. Read the Bitcoin FAQ over on /btc.

These days, the overall economy is just moving towards an all out cutting edge eco-system and subsequently everything starting from money move to theory are going paperless. Binance Supports: In the normal techniques for proficient connections, legitimate representatives, experts, and mediators can incorporate some unprecedented cost and enough unpredictability to even the immediate BinanceSupport. Moreover, there are operational expense, commissions, regulatory work and some other unprecedented conditions that may apply too. BinanceSupport charges: Transaction costs normally trim down the advantages of an individual, fundamentally if the individual performs stores of cash related Binance Supports every month. Nonetheless, as the data excavators do figuring that generally makes different sorts of cryptographic types of cash get the compensation from the framework being referred to and hence here the BinanceSupport costs never apply. Nevertheless, one may need to pay a particular proportion of outside costs for associating with the organizations of any untouchable organization organizations to keep up the computerized BinanceSupport wallet. More mystery methodology for BinanceSupport: Under the credit/cash structures, the all out BinanceSupport history can transform into a reference report for the credit association or bank included, come what may while making BinanceSupport. At the most clear level, this may recall a check for the record acclimates to guarantee the openness of good resources. Regardless, by virtue of cryptographic cash, every BinanceSupport made between two social events is considered as a stand-out exchange where the terms can be agreed and organized. Additionally, here the information exchange is performed on a "push" premise where one can definitely send what he/she seizes the opportunity to send to the recipient. This thing thoroughly guarantees the security of the money related history similarly as the threat of character or record theft. Less complex trading system all around: Although advanced monetary forms are commonly seen as the real tenders on the open levels, these are not dependent upon the advance costs, exchange rates, BinanceSupport charges or whatever different costs that are constrained by a particular country. Likewise, by using the appropriated procedure for the blockchain advancement, Binance Supports, and cross-periphery Binance Supports can be performed without any snares. More conspicuous induction to the credits: The Internet and the serious data move are the media that ease advanced cash exchanges. Thusly, these organizations are open to people with data on the cryptographic cash masterminds, a helpful data affiliation and snappy action to the relevant passages and locales. The advanced BinanceSupport organic framework is prepared for making BinanceSupport taking care of and asset move open to all the wiling people after the fundamental establishment is accessible set up. Strong security: After favoring the computerized BinanceSupport move, this can't be exchanged like the "charge-back" Binance Supports of different Visa associations. This can be a help against the deception that necessities to choose explicit understandings among vendors and buyers about limits of the appearance technique or a blunder in the BinanceSupport. Adaptability: There are around 1200 sorts of altcoins or cryptographic types of cash present in the current world. A bit of these are a bit of transient, anyway an adequate degree is used for express cases, which depict the versatility of this marvel. Blockchains, sidechains, mining - wordings in the incognito universe of cryptographic cash continue aggregating by minutes. Notwithstanding the way that it sounds ludicrous to introduce new fiscal terms in a successfully astounding universe of store, advanced types of cash offer a really vital response for most likely the best burden in the current BinanceSupport market - security of BinanceSupport in an automated world. Advanced cash is a describing and irksome improvement in the snappy moving universe of parity tech, a proper response to the necessity for a protected vehicle of exchange the hours of virtual BinanceSupport. In when game plans are simply digits and numbers, cryptographic cash proposes to do unequivocally that! In the most basic kind of the term, advanced cash is a proof-of-thought for elective virtual money that ensures ensured about, obscure Binance Supports through shared online work sorting out. The misnomer is considerably more a property rather than veritable money. Rather than standard money, cryptographic cash models work without a central influence, as a decentralized progressed instrument. In a scattered advanced BinanceSupport instrument, the money is given, directed and grasped by the total system peer compose - the tireless activity of which is known as mining on a buddy's machine. Successful diggers get coins too in vitality about their time and resources utilized. At the point when used, the BinanceSupport information is conveyed to a blockchain in the framework under an open key, shielding each coin from being spent twice from a comparable customer. The blockchain can be thought of as the agent's register. Coins are ensured about behind a mystery word made sure about cutting edge wallet addressing the customer. Effortlessly of coins in the serious money world is pre-picked, freed from control, by any individual, affiliations, government components and cash related foundations. The cryptographic cash structure is known for its speed, as BinanceSupport practices over the modernized wallets can rise resources immediately, diverged from the customary budgetary system. It is moreover by and large irreversible by arrangement, further strengthening the chance of mystery and shedding any further chances of following the money back to its special owner. Tragically, the eminent features - speed, security, and anonymity - have moreover made crypto-coins the strategy for BinanceSupport for different unlawful Binance Supports. Much equivalent to the BinanceSupport market in actuality, money rates shift in the serious coin condition. Inferable from the restricted proportion of coins, as enthusiasm for money grows, coins swell in regard. Bitcoin is the greatest and best advanced cash as of recently, with a market head of $15.3 Billion, getting 37.6% of the market and at present assessed at $8,997.31. Bitcoin hit the currency market in December, 2017 by being Binance Supportd at $19,783.21 per coin, before standing up to the startling make a plunge 2018. The fall is generally a result of rising of alternative electronic coins, for instance, Ethereum, NPCcoin, Ripple, EOS, Litecoin and MintChip. On account of hard-coded limits on their deftly, computerized types of cash are considered to keep comparative principles of money related issues as gold - cost is constrained by the confined effortlessly and the progressions of premium. With the steady instabilities in the exchange rates, their reasonability regardless of everything isn't yet clear. Consequently, the enthusiasm for virtual financial structures is more speculation right now than a standard BinanceSupport market. In the wake of present day change, this electronic money is a key bit of imaginative aggravation. From the reason for a nice onlooker, this climb may look empowering, subverting and perplexing simultaneously. While some monetary expert remain far fetched, others believe it to be a lightning change of financial industry. Moderately, the serious coins will oust for the most part quarter of open financial principles in the made countries by 2030. This has recently made another favorable position class near to the customary overall economy and another game plan of theory vehicle will start from cryptofinance in the next years. Starting late, Bitcoin may have ventured out to offer spotlight to various cryptographic types of cash. Nevertheless, this doesn't signal any crash of the cryptographic cash itself. While some cash related advisors highlight over governments' activity in separating the secret world to coordinate the central organization part, others request continuing with the current free-stream. The more standard cryptographic types of cash are, the more examination and rule they attract - an ordinary problem that bewilders the serious note and deteriorates the basic objective of its world. Regardless, the nonattendance of go-betweens and oversight is making it incredibly engaging the examiners and making each day business change https://www.fundamentally.com . To be sure, even the International Monetary Fund (IMF) fears that cryptographic types of cash will remove public banks and overall banking soon. After 2030, common business will be controlled by crypto nimbly chain.
https://federationofglobalmerchants.com/2020/08/14/gold-and-silver-where-do-they-go-from-here/ Investors know by now that one of the leading indicators of an unstable and unpredictable stock market is a surge in the price of precious metals like gold and silver. In February, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, the markets officially entered a recession, even though just months later several of the major indices have reached all-time highs. It was a brief dip into recessionary territory, but this sort of volatility is what gives investors hesitation in putting their money into the stock market, rather than something that is perceived to be more stable. Gold future contracts are selling well above $2000 per ounce for the rest of 2020 and well into 2021 as well showing that investors are confident that gold will continue to rise in price. Silver is also surging reaching new all-time highs on a daily basis. So investors may be curious as to how to get into this red-hot market, especially as the markets continue to fluctuate. Gold: For centuries now gold has been literally the ‘gold-standard’ of currency and wealth. Dating back all the way to around 40,000 B.C. in Spanish caves, gold is a naturally occurring element that has both fascinated and lured people for as long as barter systems and wealth has been recorded. Currently, gold is enjoying its highest valuations in history as investors flock to the stability of the precious metal through various streams. So what is the allure of gold and why is it so stable? Warren Buffett once said, “Gold is a way of going long on fear.” That is quite a statement from perhaps the greatest investment mind of our generation. But what does this mean for the novice investor? Even the most successful blue-chip stocks can crash. Obviously the more prominent and profitable companies with mega market caps will not crash as easily as smaller companies, but given the volatility of the pandemic, we can see anything happen. But as stock markets fluctuate on a daily basis, the price of gold remains mostly stoic. Not as manipulatable as stock prices, gold is as steady as it gets for investors. What makes gold so stable? It is a combination of factors, first and foremost, it is a physical and tangible element which makes it possible for people to store and stockpile. It does not corrode or wear down over time, making it durable and ensuring that the value remains. There is also a finite supply of it in the world. This reinforces that it will always keep a certain level of valuation as the supply is kept in check. Today, as the Federal Reserve tries desperately to pump money into the American economy to stave off a global recession and keep companies afloat. Printing more American dollars helps in the interim, but it is a temporary band-aid for the bigger problem. As more of the dollar gets created the more it gets devalued as a form of currency. This is another reason why gold is skyrocketing. The two valuations always work inversely to each other, so as the greenback continues to plummet, the price of gold will continue to surge which makes perfect sense if one thinks about it. The value of gold is priced in American dollars per ounce, so if the value of an American dollar retreats, the cost of gold will rise in response. So how can investors take advantage of the current state of gold? In the age of internet investing, there are plenty of ways to invest in gold or anything in that matter. Most American platforms give inventors the ability to buy fractional shares of companies. While this comes in handy for expensive stocks like Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN), Alphabet (NASDAQ:GOOGL), or Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA), it also allows investors to diversify their funds across multiple companies to form a basket approach to an industry. There are also plenty of ETFs or Exchange Traded Funds, available for investors to consider. These funds have the diversification of a mutual fund or index fund, but trade like individual stocks. Here’s a few of the better gold ETFs to consider if you are looking to get into the industry:
IAU – iShares Gold Trust: One of the better known gold ETFs out there, iSHARES is a reputable brand with great overall market performance. The fund has returned over 17% to inventors already this year, and with the price of gold projected to continue to rise, this fund should keep delivering for investors into next year.
DGL – Invesco DB Gold Fund: Another well known and reputable ETF, the Invesco Gold Fund has slightly higher fees than iSHARES but has also had a slightly better return so far this year.
IAUF – iShares Gold Strategy ETF: Another iSHARES ETF, this one has parts of IAU, as well as gold futures contracts, to get a long term forecast of the price of gold so the investor gets exposure to a wider range of gold options.
There are dozens of other ETFs available for investors that cover everything from miners to the finished products. Mining company stocks are another great way to get exposure. As the demand for gold increases, these mining companies should see a rise in their revenues and eventually, their profits as well. These changes will be reflected in their stock prices and we have already seen some of this already this year.
ABX – Barrick Gold: One of the largest gold mining companies in the world, this Canadian company has seen healthy gains in their stock price so far in 2020. Over the last 52 weeks, Barrick investors have enjoyed a 131% increase in stock price. With mining projects ongoing in Canada, America, Australia, South America, and Africa, Barrick has already announced that it is on track to achieve guidance this year despite closures from COVID-19.
FNV – Franco-Nevada Gold: This stock price rose almost 15% in July alone. Franco-Nevada operates as a funding company to gold mining companies, rather than actually doing the mining themselves. Sustainalytics, a guidance and analysis company, rated Franco-Nevada number one amongst 104 precious metal companies.
NEM – Newmont Goldcorp: The largest gold stock by market-cap and the only stock to trade on the S&P 500, Newmont is probably the safest company for gold investors to invest in. On top of steady returns and low volatility in the stock price, the company pays a fairly healthy dividend as well.
With gold at all-time highs, we can begin to question how high the precious metal may go. With a second wave of the coronavirus making its way around some parts of the world, and America, still making its way through their initial wave, the uncertainty that exists in today’s markets may continue into 2021. Some Wall Street analysts have forecast gold to rise as high as $10,000 per ounce, but that seems like a little ambitious. Gold has just recently hit all-time highs at $2000 per ounce and to imagine that it can run up another 500% in the next few years seems far-fetched at this point in time. That would require the markets to enter an extended bear-market, which of course is possible after a decade of a bullish run, but it would also require the American dollar to continue to be further devalued. Gold is pegged to continue to rise for the rest of this year though and well into 2021. That means investors and analysts are foreseeing a further devaluation of the American greenback as well as continued volatility in the markets and economy. Is gold a safe haven? Some people believe it is, but if you are an investor that enjoys high returns over long periods of time, investing in precious metals may not be for you. Investors love the stability of gold but the returns are never astronomical, with the last few months being an exception. It helps to have a portion of your portfolio dedicated to precious metals to diversify and protect you from any sudden market corrections, but investors should not be looking at gold as a short-term way to get wealthy. Silver: The other precious metal that has been flying sky-high of recent months is silver, the eternal younger brother to gold. Mined from silver-ore, it is a highly malleable metal that was once valued higher than gold by the Ancient Egyptians. Today, it is relatively low in price per ounce compared to gold, reaching all-time highs recently of just under $30 per ounce. Silver is another stable alternative to gold, and at lower prices, it may be a little more affordable for the novice investor to jump into. Like with gold, silver has an inverse relationship to the American dollar, and to all currencies in general. Again, this is another reason why silver is hitting all-time highs right now, with silver future contracts predicting a steady rise to mirror gold, well into 2021. There is also something that Wall Street calls the gold silver ratio, which is exactly what it sounds like: the ratio of the price of gold per ounce to the price of silver per ounce. This ratio has historically moved together, which makes logical sense if both precious metals are independently moving inverse to paper currencies. Historically, the gold and silver prices do move together though as the general ratio has been in the range of 17:1 to 20:1. Silver also has numerous ways for investors to get involved in, including silver mining and production companies, as well as the ever popular silver ETFs. These Exchange Traded Funds have gained popularity amongst retail investors in recent years as a way of purchasing a diversified product as a single equity with low costs, and no trading fees if your platform allows it. Here are a few of the better performing silver ETFs that investors can look into adding to their portfolios if they are interested in the precious metal:
SLV – iShares Silver Trust: Probably one of the better known silver ETFs, this is fully backed by silver bullion and coins held in a vault. While usually fairly steady, this ETF has enjoyed a 52-week increase of 152% with much of that coming in the last few months.
SIVR – Aberdeen Standard Physical Silver Shares ETF: Very similar to SLV but with lower fees, this is an ideal fund for novice and experienced investors to get into as they start to diversify their portfolios.
DBS – Invesco DB Silver Fund: Again another stable ETF for investors to get into, and another good performing one as well. Just as with their gold ETF, Invsco focuses on silver futures contracts for this fund, so it is a nice long-term play if investors are bullish on silver.
Just as with gold, investors can get a slice of the silver pie by buying shares of silver mining companies as well. Here are a few of the top silver mining company stocks that investors can look into adding to their portfolios.
PAAS – Pan American Silver Corp.: This Canada based miner is focussed on the exploration, development, extraction, refining, processing, and reclamation of silver. They operate mines in Peru, Mexico, Bolivia, and are developing more as well for the future.
WPM – Wheaton Precious Metals: Another Canadian based company that deals with miners of gold, silver, palladium, and cobalt. Wheaton is not a direct miner, rather they purchase these precious metals from other mining companies.
AG – First Majestic Silver Corp.: Canadian companies seem to be dominating the silver industry, and First Majestic is another of those. This company focuses mainly in Mexico for gold and silver.
Silver may never be as popular as gold for investors to keep track of but the two precious metals move in a synchronized fashion, and both are looked upon by investors as safe havens for their money when the market is in flux. The rest of 2020 seems like a wildcard right now, with many analysts expecting a further correction to the markets at any point. There seems to be an inevitability to a market crash of some sort, whether it is as big as the one that happened back in February and March, remains to be seen. Investors are looking at the precious metal industry to hold their funds to wait out any sort of correction or crash. If this does happen, we may expect a pullback in precious metals too as investors selloff to get back into some stocks at their low levels. Such is the ebb and flow of the economy during turbulent times like the current one we are in. At the same time, what if a market correction does not happen? Will the uncertainty continue or will investors feel relatively secure in the way the markets are progressing? This could cause a reduction in the demand for silver and gold, culminating in lower prices in the future. Of course this also depends on the Federal Reserve diminishing their rate of printing paper currency to bailout the economy, which does not seem like a reality in the short-term at least. Another point of contention for investors is the ongoing economical and political tensions between China and America. The two world powers have been feuding for the past couple of months over various things, but it escalated as China social media app Tik Tok gained popularity in North America. It was alleged that TikTok was sending data and information from mobile phones back to China, though nobody is sure of their intended use of this data. Regardless, the markets have stumbled several times lately because of this. Both sides have threatened economic sanctions and the banning of certain product use in each country. The prices of silver and gold have shot up as the tensions have escalated between the two governments, as investors flock to the precious metals. Many of the biggest companies on the major stock indices rely on China for materials or production, so any sort of breakdown in supply chains could cause an enormous change to their stock prices. An example of this is a sudden 5% correction in the price of Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL), as it was thought that iPhone sales would decline if China’s chat platform WeChat was banned in America. There are other factors that may have an effect on gold and silver prices as well. In this modern economy, many of the retail investors have trended towards younger adults with a sudden influx of income. Popular platforms such as Robinhood combined with increased time at home during the quarantine, have caused retail investor usage to skyrocket during the pandemic. Many of these investors are more lured in by the shiny new objects of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. Perhaps we will start thinking of these cryptocurrencies as a modern day version of precious metals one day, as many investors and some analysts, believe that Bitcoin may be a safe haven in the future. Already, the price of Bitcoin has risen above $12,000 in August, mirroring the highs of gold and silver. If the demand for Bitcoin rises higher than the demand for precious metals, we may see an investor migration to cryptocurrencies rather than tangible metals. Conclusion: Gold and silver are staples of our global economy, and will continue to be so as long as the demand for precious metals exists. In times of uncertainty, gold and silver are viewed as safe relative to the volatility of the stock market. Sure, their prices can vary as well, but because they are tied to a less dynamic valuation that is based on an inverse relation to paper currency, their prices will not and can not fluctuate as much as the liquidity of individual stocks. As long as the world remains in flux, there will be a general feeling of instability, especially for global markets. A second wave of COVID-19 in the third or fourth quarter of 2020 could prove to be enough to push the markets over the edge and into another recession. The bull market has been rallying for over a decade now, with astronomical gains over the last few years, especially for sectors like the big tech FAANG stocks. Another factor to consider is what a Biden government could bring to the world if he is elected over President Donald Trump in October. A new government could ease some of the tensions with China, as well as within America itself. These are all big what ifs, and could all have potential impacts on the economy and the world. As long as all of these factors are up in the air, investors will be looking to gold and silver as ways of stabilizing their portfolios and protecting their finances from a potential market crash in the future.
Can Cypherium be My Next Moon Bag After ChainLink !!!
When I first brought my Chainlink in Dec 2018, it was valued at 0.35. I brought 4000 units of Chainlink at 0.35 per coin ( Total Cost $1400). In the coming week, the price crashed to 0.20. Irrespective of taking huge losses, I still didn’t sell my Link as I had trust in the project. I came across various twitter accounts giving negative predictions about Link and how this can again go down further but I kept HOLDing. Now you may ask why? To invest in a project and to understand its future value, we need to put some efforts to do a little bit of research about the project as well as the impact it can make in the future. What Is Chainlink ChainLink is a decentralized oracle network that provides real-world data to smart contracts on the blockchain. LINK is the digital asset token used to pay for services on the network. In the Ethereum Scheme of Things, Chainlink is very important. With ChainLink, smart contract users can use the network’s oracles to retrieve data from off-chain application program interfaces (APIs), data pools, and other resources and integrate them into the blockchain. Basically, ChainLink takes information that is external to blockchain applications and puts it on-chain. For many of the blockchain protocols out there, oracles like ChainLink will be necessary to access the data that these protocols need to operate. As such, ChainLink is, as it names suggest, the link that connects blockchain to existing infrastructure. For me, I have understood that Etherum smart contracts have a huge potential, and these smart contracts needed real-time price feed data collected from sources both on and off blockchains. Chainlink was the first mover in this direction and that paid off really well. I have recently sold the bulk of my LINK portfolio in the recent pump. This is not because I don’t see any future with LINK, But I feel i can generate more profits with new projects I Belive in HOLDing. If I break down my portfolio, 80% of them are long HOLDs. 20% of them are for gamble the uniswap shit/farmcoin frenzy. I belive these Quick Rich projects that come out daily will continue for couple of months. After that what can survive are the projects that have solid base with future outlook. Central Bank Digital Currency — The next big thing !! Recently Philadelphia’s Federal Reserve bank president Patrick Harker came out with a remarkable statement that it is “inevitable” for the central banks, including the U.S. Federal Reserve, to start issuing digital currency. This is a great leap for blockchain from being labeled as a Ponzi in the past and now attaining a status of legitimacy. As per a research report published by Bank for International Settlements (BIS), 70% of banks are engaged in or about to start CBDC work, and of these more than half are exploring both general purpose and wholesale CBDCs. Lets first have a look into the concept of digital currency. As defined by IBM A central bank digital currency is a digital extension of a central bank’s medium of exchangeable to permanently settle transactions between parties. The central bank is able to remove credit risk and ensure stability by guaranteeing the value of the CBDC withblockchain, exactly like paper money. The present concept of CBDCs was directly inspired by Bitcoin, but CBDC is different from virtual currency and cryptocurrency, which are not issued by the state and lack the legal tender status declared by the government. Proposed implementations may not even use any sort of distributed ledger In the beginning, CBDC was a slow-moving project. With the arrival of Facebook LIBRA, the development of CBDC became a high priority for Most of the nations. This is how I came across Cypherium. Cypherium Cypherium is an enterprise-ready blockchain project, which is designed to be highly scalable and robust which utilizes a hybrid design that features a joint Proof-of-Work (PoW) and HotStuff (Also adopted by Facebook’s Libra) consensus mechanism that can allegedly achieve thousands of transactions per second without sacrificing decentralization. Cypherium is designed in such a way to focuses on achieving scalability, decentralization, and commercialization viability. If you want to have a detailed read about the project, you can read here Can Cypherium pull a LINK performance? For me, Yes. Why? . I base my argument on the belief that I will be holding this project for at least a couple of months to come. These are not quick buy- sell that you can make an instant profit/loss 📷 If you want to make good profits (10–15x in NOOBS term), the best option is to have your entry in the beginning. Either you have to get the tokens in ICO or wait for the listing and time your entry (Most the quick flippers sell their token which will lead to massive price drops). Once the dust settles, most of the projects go through an accumulation phase, and once it gains enough goodwill in the market it booms. Chainlink was trading in the range $.20 to $ .30 for a couple of months and now it’s trading at $13– $15. It took almost 2 years for LINK to reach here , Hope you got the point 📷 LINK was the first mover when it came to Oracles. Similarly, When it comes to CBDC, Cypherium has the edge. Cypherium has formed a Thinktank called Official Forum of Monetary and Financial Institutions (OMFIF) which is now leading research and development in the field of CBDC. Most of the leading Central Banks are part of the initiative and it is expected that all these CBDC, if launched, will be running on Cypherium blockchain (High Chances). That means huge goodwill for the project, Huge upside for the CPT coins 📷 One of the greatest strengths of LINK is its partnerships. Similar to LINK Cypherium has already made Cypherium Enterprise available as Blockchain-as-a-Service for enterprise customers through the stack platforms of Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and IBM. Cypherium is already a part of IC3 alliance in which Chainlink is also a part of. This means again more positive for the project to go up All of these are my assumptions. This can even go wrong. But that the risk I am willing to take.I am sure this will pay off very positively for me
Recently, hyperinflation has ravaged Lebanon and people are turning to black markets to survive. Many countries are printing their currency into oblivion. The US dollar has gone down in value in the past month. It seems that a currency collapse is on its way across the world. However, assets like cryptocurrency have been climbing in value recently. Cryptocurrencies in general have been climbing in value for the past 12 years. Many countries have tried to crack down, some like China, Russia, Columbia, etc have even banned their usage and trading. Ironically, those countries have the highest trade volumes of cryptocurrencies. India for example has lifted its ban because laws against cryptocurrencies are unenforceable. Honestly, the catalyst for this Fourth Turning was the 2008 financial crash. Funny enough, Bitcoin was created that same year. And the dollar's collapse was inevitable when Nixon took us off the gold standard. This has been a long time coming. What I see happening is the abandonment of the fiat system. When the currency crisis does happen, people will probably move to using cryptocurrency. A common myth is that cryptocurrencies are unstable. Like all commodities, cryptocurrencies are affected by supply and demand. The more people use them, the more stable it becomes. Of course governments will try and sustain the old world fiat system. They'll probably go to war with each other to try and stimulate demand. Though it probably won't work since its tax revenues would be declining due to how cryptocurrencies are unaffected by government policies like regulations or tax laws. The government will try and crackdown on anyone using cryptocurrencies, as the coins are a threat to it. People will begin to see governments as a threat to their existence and will likely revolt. A regeneracy will happen to combat government tyranny. Hopefully, the resolution ends with the death of central banking. The next 1st Turning will happen roughly around 2030. So we essentially have a decade for this possible scenario to play out. If you want more information, read a book called The Sovereign Individual. It measures its cycles by 500 years. We're in the Modern Era, which started in the early 1500s, which fits the Late Medieval Saeculum. The book predicted something like this happening around the 2020s. Hope you guys share my POV.

Mistakes make life difficult, and then you get the impression that you will never stop being a novice. The same happens in the bitcoin industry - a large number of people make mistakes that are inherent only to beginners. Of course, it's greater to learn from other people's mistakes. But how can we make sure that there are fewer of our own? Let's take a look at some of the most common mistakes that you need to avoid before you buy bitcoin in Los Angeles You haven't done your research Before you "buy bitcoin in Los Angeles", of course, you should do your research. After all, you are going to invest in bitcoin money that has been earned through hard work, and therefore you need to have a good knowledge of what bitcoins are and what your next steps may lead to. Well, it is not sufficient to just listen to friends or "experts" on the Internet who can "help" you to drain your money. Do a little research before entering the world of bitcoins. You need to understand the above, and only then join the trade. Your only aim for huge profits. Many miners are now millionaires, so you might want to buy your hardware and start the mining process. However, one should not get involved in it without studying it thoroughly and keeping in mind only high profits. Mining requires a lot of power and will need to pay huge bills that can cost more than your mining profit. https://preview.redd.it/yyn8wvn75zd51.jpg?width=1400&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0a755c24637889ccf4a7b5852c368bc64ba92a6e You are impatient This is another mistake that you need to avoid before you think to "buy bitcoin in Los Angeles" It is hard to be patient, but patience and calmness must always be maintained. There will always be third parties or factors that push you to buy or sell, but if you are patient with your crypto coins, you will be rewarded. Short-term and occasional gains from trading are certainly good, but in general, you need to stick to a strategy and plan accordingly. Don’t have private keys from your bitcoins This clause concerns the security of your coins and the privacy of the data that provide access to them. You should always have your private keys because wallets can crash, exchanges can be hacked, and your losses can cost thousands of dollars. Don't have copies of your passwords. You should have offline, offline copies of all your passwords, private keys, and other important data if you don't want to say goodbye to your money forever. This is important because you will need to access all of your cryptocurrencies even if your computer crashes or gets stolen. https://preview.redd.it/dst8jkg85zd51.jpg?width=2000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=672b36e262a1266c194bd85f444ffcc86680de8f You are afraid that you will miss something This is one of the biggest problems in the cryptocurrency world. There are many success stories, but it is not always possible to guess what will be good for you. This syndrome can push you to make rash decisions. However, it should be understood that you will only miss some things, but not all. Well, these were the most common mistakes beginners make before you "buy bitcoin in Los Angeles". You should try to remember them to avoid them in the future. Feel free to Sign up at xCoins and receive bitcoin in just minutes!
D100 Ways to Mess With "I wish for all the gold in the world!"
It rains down on the character and kills them
Infinite gold is just a single gold piece that constantly reappears in your pocket after being spent
That's the gold from the town treasury used to pay it's workers, now there's rioting in the streets
Can't be arsed to go through all the comments but all the gold could teleport back into the interior of the world - to the mines it originated in or just like dispersed through the mantle again?
All of the gold in the world is condensed into one single coin that flotas in front of the wishmaker for a few seconds. When he goes to grab it, it stops floating and the combined mass of all the gold in the world is to heavy for any mortal to hold. It tears through his hand and throws him to the ground, leaving a 20 meter wide crater where the coin landed. Nothing can pick up the coin, but that just means that no one can steal it from the wish maker.
Everyone in the world gains the belief that gold is your personal property and feels weird about possessing it. It's like an old roommate's CDs, or an ex boyfriend's hoodie. They'll put the same amount of effort into returning it to you, but only when it's convenient. You can't really spend it anywhere either, unless they have an unhealthy desire for your possessions.
"ok it's all yours, go get it". (no gold moves)
Trade continues with coins made of other metals, and gold is a weird fringe metal that nobody will honor
All your gear is now gilded, and all other gold coins lose their color. Nobody other than you remembers the old color of gold
The uncaring diety that granted your wish also brought all the dragons that guarded hoards of gold
All the gold from underground bursts from the earth in front of you, with no convenient way to move it.
All the gold in the rest of the world disappears. Widespread chaos and confusion reigns. Literally all the gold in the world is carried in his pack. No gold in temple decorations.. magical items with gold no longer work.. etc.
The world is not defined as this world. You got all the gold in the only diamond world, so, none.
"All the gold in the world" was a poem written by a bad bard. You get a worthless piece of paper with a lackluster poem.
"All the Gold" is almost dead nag of a riding horse and was in the world. The rapid trip to get to you kills it.
You are encumbered by the gold in your possession and can not empty your inventory fast enough to escape encumbrance in the middle of nowhere. (Hope a town eventually forms around you fast.)
You get what you wish and everyone and everything else knows it, but, you do not immediately know. (good luck with all the thieves, assassins, nobles, bandits, demons, etc. gunning for you and your gold.)
Every creature that falls under "fae" or similar are forced to deliver the gold to you. Everyone from a common fairy to fae deities come one after the other, each with only one gold piece until you have all the gold in the world. They're concious of their actions but can't move freely until the deed is done. Who knows what they'd do to you once they regain control of their bodies
You get the gold... but its somewhere. Good luck finding it.
All the gold in the world, except for what’s on your person, vanishes in an instant.
All gold within 60’ of the wish maker flies to them as metal to a powerful magnet and sticks to them. They can only remove gold from their body that they are giving/donating to a person, cause, church, or kingdom/city-state, empire etc. (the person must be a stranger or passing acquaintance, no more than that, or they are using as payment for goods or services or repaying a financial debt. STR checks for movement and CON checks to remain standing will eventually be needed.
They get all the gold in the world in a spendable and secure manner. But some of that gold is cursed by various wizards and magical entities in various ways for various reasons. The owner of it now bears at least a dozen unrelated curses, maybe more.
You get all the gold but now no one has any so it holds no value. We move back into a barter system until a new form of currency can be established.
They get midas' touch and everything they touch turns into gold but if they touch a creature the creatures gains +5 ac and can still attack and move normally
The character becomes coated in gold, lowering mobility but greatly increasing defense
All gold not owned by them turns into silver.
They get their gold, only to find that the primary currency is now platinum. Gold is now only used as a component some spells, or for the properties of the material itself.
All the gold in the world disappears. There is no gold, so you have all that there is.
The gold stays where it is but technically IS their property. Good luck convincing everyone else that...
All of the gold in the world immediately teleports to their location, killing the PC immediately via crushing and flattening entire cities at once beneath thousands of tons of gold ore, coins, and dust
Ok, you now own all the gold in the world. However, it is still located exactly where it was before. You own it but it hasn't moved. Go get it if you want. And try convince the current possessor of it that you are the owner.
All the gold comes with all the dragons...
.. they cant physically shift the huge mountain of gold and people come from far and wide to take a wheelbarrow full of gold that is too large to be protected by the party..
Theres no gold anywhere else so everyone reverts to spending lead coins instead. Gold decreases in value substantially. ...
All the gold in the world technically belongs to the player but it's still wherever it was before he/she owned it. It now depicts the players head on every coin and people everywhere say things like "hey I know you you're from money!" Etc
It’s in bitcoin, what’s bitcoin? Just wait a couple thousand years.
Because wishes are directed to the gods themselves, and they see the entire universe as their "world" the gold from all around the universe is summoned to the PC's or NPC's location, the sheer amount of gold is so large that the entire planet is destroyed, along with any moons it might have, if the dm decides that the universe the campaign is in is very very very VERY rich in gold, he might aswell say that because so much gold was teleported to a specific location, it collapsed upon itself and formed a black hole.
Your players hear a loud, familiar sound of earth moving as if an earth elemental started traveling beneath them. Your player hears something rustle in the grass, PC looks down and there, under a dead leaf, lies a single spec of gold ore. Pulled from the earth they stand on the gold ore inside the earth always moves up towards the player. If they stay in one spot for longer than a week it begins to pile.
It is in one enormous coin, and nobody can make change. You try to break it into smaller pieces, but are stopped by the authorities because it has the emperor's face on it.
Everyone else will see the color gold as a muted grey.
You now possess all the gold in the world, but now everyone wants to kill you for it
The wisher get the world's supply of fool's gold (pyrite). Hope they enjoy the irony.
Every sentient creature is "informed" that you are now the owner of all the gold in the world. No gold actually moves anywhere and it is up to you to enforce your righteous claim.
The color "gold" is suddenly drained from all things which become more brown or yellow. Now only you can bestow this color onto objects and creatures.
You get your wish, but no one has any gold left so the economy crashes.
All the gold in the world includes the gold guarded by every dragon. Bringing the gold to you also brings you its previous owner or notifies them of your act.
This could also be applied to innumerable other monsters as well.
At first, the gold rivers streaming through the air above the wisher's location is amazing. Verucai Saltberry can eat her heart out. Then, as the rivers make landfall, a nervous quiet overcomes all those who witness the spectacle.
All the gold in the world now rains down upon their location.
After half of one hour, 2d12 * 10 acres are covered in anything made of gold. Coins. Ore. Candelabras. You name it. I don't think there are enough dice to calculate the weight...
Hot molten gold floods in your direction
The world decides that gold is now useless since no one has it. They switch to using electrum.
You get it. Exactly as you intended, all the gold coins in the world. But, every dragon, king, crime boss, even members of your own party just had all their gold stolen from them, and they aren't happy about it.
The color gold dissapears from everything in the world unless it is owned by the wisher. Gold is suddenly indistinguishable from silver except by alchemists and smiths and dragons. As a trade currency it becomes almost worthless. The economy plunges into turmoil and as the value of gold plummets so do dragons interest in it. The land devolves into chaos as they suddenly struggle to work out wealth. Gems and iron both skyrocket in value. Dragons, furious at their essentially worthless hordes that they’ve amassed over the years rage across the land. Gold dragons go black. They’ve lost their color. There is a sudden increase in black dragons. Chaos takes hold and the black dragons start taking over the land.
All the gold in the world disappears leaving only what they have on their person
The dragons of the world soon realize where their horde has been taken. They all have you in their sight.
It’s in one solid brick that’s practically worthless for the size
You find yourself atop a mountain of all of the world's gold. Every greedy dragon in the world will soon be converging on your location to fight for this prize, with you in the middle. This being all the gold, that pile includes the scales from every gold dragon in the world, which you've just forcibly torn apart with your wish. Even the good-aligned dragons now see you as a genocidal monster that must be destroyed for the safety of their own kind. Your death is suddenly the singular goal that unites almost every dragon in the world. Also, all Electrum becomes a sort of brittle silver. That will please our DM, who hates having to include electrum coins in currency conversions.
"Granted" and it seems as if nothing happens. Then, after a moment passes, there is a slight thump nearby. And then something light hits the player, rattling off of him, looking down he sees a small, wonderful necklace with a lithe, golden chain attached to it.And then a coin lands next to it.And then another. And another. The sound of falling gold escalates, turning into a storming, crashing chaos as all gold in the entire world falls from the sky in a roaring hail of death. And then all is silent, coins, jewelry, ore, newly refined gold and everything else stands as a small mountain where once there was a campsite and a forest, all of the players are dead or dying underneath that silent, golden hill.
The planet's core loses all of its gold, which, in a supercritical molten state, appears floating as a series of masses overhead. This explodes and showers the area in forcefully-flung chunks of gold. Good job.
The gods of wealth and trade are suddenly obliterated, and you are filled with divine power contained only by your mortal vessel, which wrecks havok on the divine realms and the mortal world. You probably don't survive. Good job.
The gold is helpfully contained for you, and only consists of gold coins! ...Unfortunately, they appear in every single container or vessel you own or touch, forever, making it impossible to eat or drink except off the ground and makes clothing, home ownership, or trade tricky. Good job.
They now own the license to obscure Half-Orc Bard Elzic Pagavian's folk album "All the gold in the world". Elzic is, however, an extremely competent adventurer and will not stand for having his art stolen out from under him.
The power behind the wish misunderstands the intent and makes the wisher the only person to have a thing of that color.
They get all the gold in the world, being the only one to posses gold, it becomes useless and the world's currency standards change.
They didn't specify which world, molten gold pours in from a fire world
Granted, since they specified “in the world” they now have a mountain sized pile of unrefined and impure Gold Ore, this pisses off all the Dwarvern clans as each ones mining operation is funded mostly by processing and selling Gold and similar materials. You and the party are now enemies of every dwarf Clan and their allies.
I started an entire campaign with a similar premise involving a lamp, an efreet, and a Wish. I had a kingdom's worth of gold appear in a magical bag (like a bag of holding), but it was a solid cube that couldn't be pulled through the tiny opening of its container. Made for a lot of memorable scheming on the part of the players!
They get all the gold in the world, the economy is no longer based on gold as there is none in circulation, brass coins replace gold coins
You immediately stand upon a mountain of all the gold in the world. Seeing as you are the only one who has any, Silver becomes the dominant currency, making gold worthless. In addition, you piss off several dragons with hoards. At the same time, most kingdoms fall into financial ruin as they desperately attempt to find a new currency. While all this is happening, sinkholes begin to appear around the world as huge underground deposits of gold have vanished, allowing the ground to give way.
All the gold not owned by the players is suddenly converted into silver. Currency now takes up 10x the amount of space which means any storage suddenly becomes limited.
For the wealthy lords, it’s a nuisance that their pockets are suddenly weighed down or overflowing. For the banks that have just exploded... it’s a different matter.
All the gold deposits from underground are drawn to the PCs creating huge destructive geysers and destroying everything in their path on the way to them.
All the gold deposits from underground are drawn to the PCs creating huge destructive geysers and destroying everything in their path on the way to them.
They start magnetically attracting every coin they walk by forever.
All the gold in the world disappears and the world is changed to a paper-money system. The gold you have is the only gold remaining in the world, but it is useless as a currency. Maybe some alchemist will buy it from you?
The rest of the gold in the world disappears, all that's left is what three player has on them
Assuming they mean currency they're giving all the gold in the world translated into copper and they need to find a way to haul the several million metric tons of copper they have now. assuming they mean or they are now surrounded by all currently existing veins of unrefined gold ore
The player now owns all the gold in the world... And the accompanying tax bill.
Elderly people appear
You get all the Gold in the world, and everyone is hunting you for thievery
Gold is molten, appears in your pocket
total collapse of the gold economy because there’s a lot more gold beneath the crust than in it, and it’s all technically in the world

Bitcoin 11 Years - Achievements, Lies, and Bullshit Claims So Far - Tooootally NOT a SCAM !!!!
That's right folks, it's that time again for the annual review of how Bitcoin is going: all of those claims, predictions, promises .... how many have turned out to be true, and how many are completely bogus ??? Please post / link this on Bitcoin (I am banned there for speaking the truth, so I cannot do it) ... because it'a way past time those poor clueless mushrooms were exposed to the truth. Anyway, without further ado, I give you the Bitcoin's Achievements, Lies, and Bullshit Claims So Far ... . Bitcoin Achievements so far:
It has spawned a cesspool of scams (2000+ shit coin scams, plus 100's of other scams, frauds, cons).
Many 1,000's of hacks, thefts, losses.
Illegal Use Cases: illegal drugs, illegal weapons, tax fraud, money laundering, sex trafficking, child pornography, hit men / murder-for-hire, ransomware, blackmail, extortion, and various other kinds of fraud and illicit activity.
Legal Use Cases: Steam Games, Reddit, Expedia, Stripe, Starbucks, 1000's of merchants, cryptocurrency conferences, Ummm ????? The few merchants who "accept Bitcoin" immediately convert it into FIAT after the sale, or require you to sell your coins to BitPay or Coinbase for real money, and will then take that money. Some of the few who actually accept bitcoin haven't seen a customer who needed to pay with bitcoin for the last six months, and their cashiers no longer know how to handle that.
Contributing significantly to Global Warming.
Wastes vasts amounts of electricity on useless, do nothing work.
Exponentially raises electricity prices when big miners move into regions where electricity was cheap.
It’s the first "currency" that is not self-sustainable. It operates at a net loss, and requires continuous outside capital to replace the capital removed by miners to pay their costs. It’s literally a "black hole currency."
It created a new way for people living too far from Vegas to gamble all their life savings away.
Spawned "blockchain technology", a powerful technique that lets incompetent programmers who know almost nothing about databases, finance, programming, or blockchain scam millions out of gullible VC investors, banks, and governments.
Increased China's foreign trade balance by a couple billion dollars per year.
Helped the FBI and other law enforcement agents easily track down hundreds of drug traffickers and drug users.
Wasted thousands if not millions of man-hours of government employees and legislators, in mostly fruitless attempts to understand, legitimize, and regulate the "phenomenon", and to investigate and prosecute its scams.
